Tom Cruise: Back to His Action Hero Ways

Tom Cruise: Back to His Action Hero Ways

It's been a few years since we've seen Tom Cruise in an action movie that really wow'd us. "Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation" was released in 2015 and "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" came out in 2016. But now, the wait is over. He is back with a new movie called "Mission: Impossible – Fallout," which comes out on July 27th, 2018.

In this new movie, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team must track down stolen plutonium while being pursued by assassins and government agents. This sounds like a recipe for an exciting action movie! And the trailers seem to confirm this.

Cruise has always been great at doing his own stunts, and this movie looks like it will be no exception. In fact, one of the stunts he performs in the movie is a HALO jump (High Altitude Low Opening), which is something he has never done before. You can see a preview of this stunt in the trailer below:

Action movies are often criticized for their stupid plots and unrealistic scenes. However, I think Cruise manages to avoid this problem by choosing well-written scripts and performing many of his own stunts. This makes his action movies more believable and exciting to watch.

I am definitely looking forward to seeing "Mission: Impossible – Fallout" when it comes out later this month. I am sure it will be another great action movie from Tom Cruise!

Tom Hanks: America's Dad Is Back

Tom Hanks will return to the big screen in a new movie about the American space program.

Hanks is no stranger to playing real-life people on the big screen. He's already played roles as diverse as Jim Lovell in Apollo 13 and Walt Disney in Saving Mr. Banks.

The new movie is called The Space Between Us and tells the story of an astronaut who becomes stranded on Mars and must find a way back to Earth.

Hanks isn't the only big name attached to the project. Gary Oldman will also star, playing the head of the space program.

The Space Between Us is set for release in December of 2017.

Tom Hardy: The New Face of Tough Guys

He's the new face of tough guys.

Tom Hardy has taken Hollywood by storm with his star-making performances in films like The Dark Knight Rises, Inception, and most recently Mad Max: Fury Road.

What sets Hardy apart from other action stars is his ability to convincingly portray both the heroic and the villainous characters.

In The Dark Knight Rises, he played the masked crusader Bane with equal parts brute force and intelligence. And in Mad Max: Fury Road, he gave a complex, multilayered performance as the vengeful warlord Immortan Joe.

It's this range that makes Hardy such an interesting actor, and it's also what makes him perfect for action roles. He's not just a one-dimensional actor who can only play tough guys; he can also portray vulnerable characters who are searching for redemption.

This was evident in his performance as Dom Cobb in Inception, a character who is haunted by his past and is struggling to overcome his fears.

Hardy is also a highly physical actor, often doing his own stunts. This gives his performances an added level of realism and intensity.

Simply put, Tom Hardy is one of the best actors working today, and he's quickly becoming the go-to guy for tough guy roles.

Tom DeLonge: UFO Researcher Turned Novelist

In rock music, there are a few superstar icons that have transcended their respective genres and become mainstream household names. Tom DeLonge is one of those rare talents. He was the guitarist and co-lead vocalist for the world-famous rock band Blink-182, but since they disbanded in early 2015, DeLonge has been focusing on his other interests: UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

DeLonge has never been shy about his UFO beliefs; in fact, he's been outspoken about them for years. In an interview with Mic.com in October 2015, DeLonge said, "I was always interested in science and space. When I was a kid, I was reading books about aliens and Area 51." But it wasn't until he became friends with two gentlemen who claimed to have worked at Area 51 that DeLonge really started delving into the topic of UFOs.

"These guys came out to meet me at a club in San Diego," DeLonge said in the interview. "One night, out of nowhere, they just start telling me about this stuff [UFOs], like it was no big deal." Intrigued by what he was hearing, DeLonge peppered them with questions about UFO sightings and alien life forms. "I asked them things like 'What do you think they're doing? What's their agenda?' And they couldn't answer me."

After spending time talking to these alleged government insiders, DeLonge decided he needed to learn more about UFOs himself. He began reading books and articles on the subject, as well as watching documentaries like "Sirius" (which features an interview with Dr. Steven Greer, founder of The Disclosure Project) and "Out of the Blue" (a documentary about the 1978 New Zealand UFO sightings). As his knowledge of UFOs grew, so did his fascination with them — so much so that he decided to leave Blink-182 and focus on writing a novel about extraterrestrial life.

And that's how DeLonge's new project, To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science (TTSA), was born. TTSA is a public benefit corporation focused on studying UFOs and promoting transparency within government agencies when it comes to extraterrestrial lifeforms. According to its website, TTSA is "dedicated to discovering deeply unknown science and achieving technological breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity."

There has been some criticism directed towards DeLonge for his involvement in TTSA; some people feel that he's using the topic of UFOs to make money or garner publicity. But DeLonge has repeatedly stated that he is passionate about learning more about UFOs and extraterrestrial lifeforms and wants to use TTSA as a way to share what he learns with the world.

"I don't care if people think I'm crazy," DeLonge said in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine in December 2017. "I've been called crazy my whole life… I'm not motivated by money or fame; I'm motivated by getting this information out there."

Tom Holland: Youngest Actor to Play Spider-Man

Tom Holland is not only the newest Spider-Man, but he is also the youngest actor to ever play the role of the web-slinger. He beat out both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who were both in their early 30s when they played Spider-Man.

Holland was born on June 1, 1996 in London, England. His first acting credit was for the movie Billy Elliot the Musical in 2008. Since then, he has starred in a number of films, including The Impossible (2012), In the Heart of the Sea (2015), and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017).

Holland was cast as Spider-Man in 2014, but his participation in the role was kept secret until 2015. He made his first appearance as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War (2016). He will star in his own standalone Spider-Man movie, which is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2017.
